Memorandum of Understanding signed in Rome between ISRCT and AiCS

A major memorandum of understanding has been signed in Rome between ISRCT and AiCS, the Italian Association for Culture and Sport. The agreement, signed by AiCS National President Bruno Molea and ISRCT President Professor Roberto Madeddu, launches a five-year collaboration in the fields of research, training and scientific outreach.

The agreement focuses on the relationships between environment, nutrition, exposure to metals and trace elements, health and sports performance.

AiCS is one of the leading Sports Promotion Organisations (Enti di Promozione Sportiva) recognised by CONI (the Italian National Olympic Committee) and by CIP (the Italian Paralympic Committee). Founded in 1962 as a non-profit association, it has gradually broadened its scope to include culture, social policy, volunteering, the third sector, the environment and social tourism.
