International Society for Research on Cadmium and Trace Element Toxicity

Welcome to the official website of the International Society for Research on Cadmium and Trace Element Toxicity.

The International Society for Research on Cadmium and Trace Elements Toxicity (ISRCT), founded in 2015, is a non-profit association that aims to promote and spread knowledge of Cadmium and Trace Metals.
The society was founded by a group of researchers from different fields, from medicine to biology, from genetics to botany, from chemistry to agriculture, all connected for the interest of the study and knowledge of Cadmium and Trace Elements.
The aim of the Society is to promote research and to disseminate information about multiple roles of cadmium present in the environment and its impact on health.
A major role of the Society is to promote exchange between members of the research community working on these questions. Particular attention is directed toward young scientists in an effort to advance their professional education.
Another important role is the organization of conferences, courses, seminars, both in presence and online.
Becoming a member of the ISRCT is possible for all those, scientists or not, who are interested in Cadmium topics, from students to senior scientists. Click Membership and you will see the indications to become an ISRCT member.
